Samsung is officially bringing Galaxy AI to the Galaxy S22 lineup, Galaxy Tab S8 series & more

Samsung today announced that it’s officially bringing Galaxy AI to more Galaxy devices as part of the One UI 6.1 update. These include the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Tab S8 series tablets. 

In a press release, Samsung asserted that the One Ui 6.1 update will bring all the Galaxy AI features launched with the Galaxy S24 series to the aforementioned devices. Among the features brought forth with Galaxy AI are Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translate, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion and AI-Generated Wallpaper.

Samsung further lauded Galaxy AI as making communication a bridge by offering features that deliver messages across straightforward in any language. Moreover, travelling abroad no longer needs to be a daunting prospect with Interpreter converting speech into translated text on a split screen. 

Beyond that, Live Translate offers instant voice and text translations over phone calls, while Chat Assist helps users’ message in different languages and adjust message tone. Samsung added that more users can also benefit from Galaxy AI’s game-changing productivity and information access. 

Circle to Search with Google streamlines social media and internet interaction with a simple and intuitive gesture while Note Assist simplifies organization tasks with auto-formatting and summarization features. Browsing Assist adeptly summarizes and translates articles on a webpage and with Transcript Assist, users can effortlessly create accurate meeting summaries and translations.
