While ASUS Malaysia have not come out with the official announcement yet, it appears that the next 64-bit tablet from ASUS will be the ASUS MeMo Pad 8 (ME181CX) for a very affordable price of just RM549. Coming courtesy of Dynamics Distribution, the tablet will feature a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage + 5GB ASUS Web Storage, 8-inch dsiplay with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 2MP rear camera, VGA front camera and 4000 mAh battery. Other tech specs include support for an up to 64GB microSD flash memory card, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 amd GPS, with the tablet available in black and white. The design appears to be thinner than before with a flat, non-protruding rear camera lens while the tablet also looks to be running ASUS ZenUI as well. No specific details on Malaysia release dates yet, but it should be soon.
