Let's face it, these days many smartphones, tablets and mobile devices won't last a day unless you use them minimally. Therefore, it becomes important to carry around a powerbank that can offer you a bit more than a single charge, especially if you're carrying more than one device. ADATA have come up with the ADATA PV150 10000 mAh powerbank for these users and have even added on a bit of style with a plastic yet leather-like appearance along with multiple circuit protection features. Check out our review of the ADATA PV150 10000 mAh Power Bank below to see if it suits your needs.

Fits in the palm of your hand

Following in the footsteps of the ADATA PV120, the ADATA PV150 10000 mAh powerbank features a leather-like exterior. The powerbank case itself is actually plastic but there are leather patterns and even stitching to make it seem as if it is a more premium leather clad device. Fitting into the palm of your hand, the ADATA PV150 is compact and measures in at 99 x 84 x 24mm but is rather heavy at 235g. Despite the larger size and capacity, the rounded ADATA PV150 only has a single 2.1A USB port along with a 2A microUSB port for charging. A row of 5 blue LEDS indicate how much power is left and features multiple curcuit protection including Over-Temperature Protection, Over-Charge Protection, Short Circuit Protection, Over-Voltage Protection, Over-Discharge Protection and Over-Current Protection.

In terms of performance, it charges well at a standard rate but because it only has one USB port, it can only charge a single device at a time. The 10000 mAh battery is good for 3-4 times charging for a smartphone, depending on how big your smartphone battery is while the powerbank itself is compact enough to fit into most bags, pouches or purses. Thanks to the leather-like pattern, the powerbank has good grip and is not all that slippery despite the plastic exterior. The LED lights are also quite bright and you won't miss them when they turn on.

Overall, the ADATA PV150 10000 mAh powerbank is a compact 10000 mAh power bank with a full range of circuit protection features to protect the charging of your mobile devices. We would have liked it more if it had another USB port like the ADATA PV120 but the 10000 mAh capacity should be enough for most users. At around RM90 it is a bit on the pricey side, especially with the more compact and affordable ASUS ZenPower 9600 mAh powerbank recently released but it should be a better fit for those of you who are rocking a leather or leather-like look.
