Acer launches new performance-oriented Aspire VX 15, V Nitro and GX Series

Acer seems to be on a roll today, as the company has unveiled three new Aspire series devices, the Acer Aspire V Nitro, Aspire VX 15 and Aspire GX series. Packed with premium audio technologies, crystal clear displays with IPS technology, the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics and high-performance 7th Generation Intel Core processors.

Aspire V Nitro

Coming with a 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, 4K (3840x2160) Ultra HD display panel and longer battery life to mobile devices. The chipset is the perfect match the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or 1050 Ti graphics. It also featues a 17.3-inch display is available with optional integrated Tobii eye-tracking hardware that when combined with touchpad gestures, enhances productivity.

To add on to that, it has the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with 6GB of dedicated GDDR5 VRAM and up to 16GB of DDR4 system memory, upgradable to 32GB using two soDIMM modules. They also come with a NVMe PCIe Gen 3 or SATA SSD, and a HDD of up to 2TB capacity for additional storage, as well as a Coolboost technology for cooling the laptop and even a fingerprint sensor embedded in the top left corner of the Precision Touchpad.

The Aspire V 15 Nitro Black Edition will be available in North America in February starting at $1199; in EMEA in February with prices starting at €1299; and in China in February starting at ¥8999. Estimated Malaysian price is over RM5000.

The Aspire V 17 Nitro Black Edition, on the other hand, will be available in North America in February starting at $1399; in EMEA in February with prices starting at €1299; and in China in February starting at ¥8999. Estimated Malaysian price is over RM6000.

Moving on, the VX 15 is more or less the same with the V Nitro models, the 2.5kg laptop features 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics with GDDR5 VRAM (delivering up to 32GB/s bandwidth), 16GB DDR4 memory out of the box and can be user-upgradeable to a maximum of 32GB. Storage is provided by a 512GB SSD and 1TB HDD, display panel is 5.6-inch Full HD IPS screen and has the same Coolboost technology.

The Aspire VX 15 will be available in North America in January starting at $799; in EMEA in January with prices starting at €899; and in China in January starting at ¥5499. Estimated Malaysian price is over RM3500.

Aspire GX Series

Lastly, the GX series come equipped with up to 7th Generation Intel Core processors, up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics. What’s more, they’re capable of delivering 4K resolution visuals and support up to 4 displays at once for maximized gaming experiences. Also, there’s no shortage of storage with up to a 3TB HDD and a 256GB SSD, and sports a handy Wireless Charging Deck for keeping users mobile devices powered up and ready to go.

The Aspire GX series will be available in North America in March starting at $899; in EMEA in February with prices starting at €799; and in China in February starting at ¥5999. Estimated Malaysian price is over RM4000.
