RIM may have already announced its next-generation Bold, but apparently the Canadian firm have another Bold upgrade hiding up its sleeve - BlackBerry Bold 9790.
BlackBerry Bold 9790: Codename
That’s according to potential sources, which has managed to get its hands on snaps of the Onyx III or Bellagio, otherwise known as the Bold 9790. It looks an awful lot like the BlackBerry Bold 9780, and it’ll packs a lot of the next-gen smarts that we’ll be seeing in the Bold 9900.
BlackBerry Bold 9790: Performance
The BlackBerry Bold 9790 is to be “significantly faster and thinner than the current BlackBerry Bold 97XX devices”, and arrives rocking the latest version of RIM’s OS. With BlackBerry OS 7 onboard we can expect it to pack a ramped up processor, while arriving equipped with a speedier web browser, HTML support, a revamped UI and voice activated universal search.
BlackBerry Bold 9790: Other Specifications
Other specifications include a 2.4-inch touchscreen, a full QWERTY keypad, an optical trackpad, a rear-facing camera, NFC integration and 8GB of built-in storage. Although it all sounds fairly promising, i’s a bit of a confusing device, given that since the Bold 9900 seems to already cover many of the same bases.
