Google accidentally revealed the Pixel 8 Pro on its website

Google is comically bad at keeping secrets when it comes to their Pixel lineup, with Pixel smartphones consistently leaked prior to launch in the past. Now, it’s time for the Google Pixel 8 Pro to get leaked and it was actually Google itself that accidentally did so.

Shared by Mishaal Rahman on Twitter thanks to a tip by Android Setting, Google accidentally published a photo of the Pixel 8 Pro in action on its Subscriptions & Services promo page. In the photo, a man can be seen using the device to take a call, revealing the back design of the upcoming flagship.

The alternative text for the image confirmed that the phone is the Pixel 8 Pro in a Porcelain colour option. From a distance, the smartphone looks really similar to the Pixel 7 Pro but a closer inspection shows that the shape of the camera bump is different.

Well, not much about this accidental leak revealed the device’s specs, but the camera module does allude to a temperature sensor which many tipsters are claiming to be a new feature on the device. Until more leaks on the device, stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news such as this.
