Google reveals more information on the thermometer feature for the Google Pixel 8 Pro

If you are a fan of Google smartphones, this news might excite you. Recently, Google revealed more information about the thermometer feature on the Google Pixel 8 Pro. That said, what should you know about it?

Thanks to the latest Google Pixel update, the infrared sensor has turned into a smart thermometer. This feature allows you to measure your body temperature without contact. Thanks to this revamped feature, measuring your body temperature will be a more convenient and hygienic experience.

For your information, the body temperature sensor is placed near the primary camera. On top of that, you can also measure your body temperature by swiping it on your forehead via the temporal arteries scan. Google believes this method is more reliable and accurate compared to the traditional method. It also passed clinical trials with a temperature measurement range of 36.1°C – 40°C and an accuracy of up to ±0.3°C.

Moreover, Google’s latest LDAF laser autofocus could improve the accuracy of the measurement. Besides that, tactile feedback and voice commands offer you a better user experience with its guidance. Monitoring your health should be easier from now on.
