HONOR Magic V2 Malaysia release - Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, Adreno 740 GPU, 16GB RAM and 1TB storage will be available from ~RM7000+ onwards

Previously, we mentioned that HONOR will release its thinnest and lightest flagship phone ever in Malaysia. Today, HONOR Malaysia confirms the HONOR Magic V2 will arrive in Malaysia soon. That said, what should you know about it?

For your information, the HONOR Magic V2 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with an Adreno 740 GPU. It will also sport up to 16GB RAM and a maximum of 1TB storage for your convenience. This device comes pre-loaded with Magic OS 7.2 (Android 13). But, you can expect a software update should bring your phone up to speed with Android 14.

Besides that, it will run a 7.92-inch foldable LTPO OLED with 1B colours and a 120Hz refresh rate. You can also enjoy a screen that features HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced with a peak of 1600 nits brightness. The phone comes with a fingerprint (side-mounted) sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and colour spectrum sensor.

Camera-wise, the phone runs a triple 50MP primary camera with a 16MP snapper. It also supports a 4K resolution video at 30/60fps. Plus, the device houses a 5000mAh battery life and supports 66W wired charging. It also supports 5W reverse wired charging.

The main highlight of this phone is its endurance. The company claims that it can last up to 10 years with over 400000 folds. That means the phone should be fine even if you fold it 100 times a day. Thanks to the HONOR Ultra-thin Bionic VC Cooling System, your phone can maintain optimal performance for long-term durability.

We have yet to confirm the Malaysia release date or the official price for the device. However, we know that it could arrive very soon. You should also expect the phone to cost you around RM7000 and above. If this phone catches your interest, you might want to get it soon.
