After months of leaks and teasers HTC have finally announced the HTC One Mini. Featuring the same design in a smaller form factor, the smartphone offers some interesting features at a (hopefully) more affordable price. Some of these features and tech specs include:

  • 1.4Ghz Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor
  • Adreno 305 GPU
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB storage
  • 4.3-inch Super LCD 3 (720p, 341ppi)
  • 4MP UltraPixel rear camera (no OIS) + 1.6MP front camera
  • BoomSound dual front facing speakers
  • 1800 mAh battery
  • Android 4.2
  • Supports LTE

Like the larger HTC One, the HTC One Mini has the same zero-gap construction, which also means still no microSD card. While it keeps the same software features of Zoe and Blinkfeed it does away with the IR blaster and NFC but now only weighs 122g. It comes in silver and black but no news just yet on when exactly it will be available in Malaysia and for how much. It will be available in certain markets from August with a global launch in early September. We're expecting the HTC One Mini to be at least two levels lower in terms of price compared to the HTC One. For more information see the video below or check out the HTC One Mini site.
