In the early days of smartphones, display sizes used to be around 5+ inches. But people started wanting larger screens, so phones with displays of more than 6 inches became common. If that's you, you'll probably want to pick up a large tablet.

Having said that, what's a good option you could go for? There are plenty of choices today, such as the new HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet coming to Malaysia soon. It has many features that make it useful for work, plus the hardware to make it excel in entertainment or mobile gaming. Here's an overview of what this tablet has to offer.

Super large display

The first thing you'll notice is obviously the large screen. As the name implies, the MatePad Pro 13.2 comes with a 13.2-inch Flexible OLED display, which has bezels as thin as 3.4mm for an incredible 94% screen-to-body ratio. Its 3:2 aspect ratio makes it better for productivity, as it can display more vertical text and other content.

Of course, it's not just large for the sake of being large. As an OLED display, it offers a high contrast ratio of 1000000:1, ∆E<1 colour accuracy for sRGB and DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. It also has a refresh rate of 144Hz, 1ms response time, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. Whether it's for gaming, work or general entertainment, you can count on this screen to perform.

Ultra-thin design

An aspect of the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2 that truly stands out is its design and build. At 5.5mm in thickness, it's easily one of the slimmest tablets you can find in this size. Moreover, it's also relatively light at 580g. That means you get a highly portable large-screen tablet you can carry to your meetings or lunch appointments. It also has pretty good-looking colours of Green and Golden Black.

High-tech stylus

Another highlight of the MatePad Pro 13.2 is the 3rd generation HUAWEI M-Pencil. This stylus is the first to offer NearLink technology, seamlessly connecting to the tablet for your many needs. It can deliver a zero-latency writing experience, making it feel like you're really writing with a pencil. It'll also support adaptive pressure (4096 to 10000 levels), which will be useful for sketching or drawing.

On top of that, NearLink is great because it's 60% more power efficient than a Bluetooth connection, so the battery will last longer. It also has a data transmission rate that's six times faster, two times coverage for connectivity, and supports 10 times more connections compared to Bluetooth.

Three-in-one modes

Best of all, the Smart Magnetic Keyboard combines with the MatePad Pro 13.2 in many useful ways. First, you could connect the keyboard to the tablet and use it like a laptop. Since the keyboard connects via Bluetooth, you can also detach it and use it separately. That means you could position the tablet on an elevated level, which helps with your posture. Finally, you can adjust the provided kickstand and turn it into a drawing tablet.

Additionally, the keyboard comes with a large touchpad that supports gestures. For instance, you can pinch to zoom, swipe sideways to move pages or swipe up with three fingers to return to the home screen. Very useful if you're a fan of shortcuts.

But there's more! The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2 is a great choice because it has a Kirin 9000s chipset to power all its fancy features. It also sports productivity apps like WPS Office Suite, a multi-driver array speaker, a sizable 10100mAh battery, 88W fast charging, and more.
