Yesterday, Huawei held a big launch event in China to unveil its new products. The list includes the new Huawei Mate 60 RS, with Andy Lau as its product ambassador. But that's not all the company has in store, with the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 also released.

As the name implies, this is a Pro model of Huawei's 2023 MatePad tablets, and it comes with a huge 13.2-inch screen. Specifically, it's a 13.2-inch OLED display with 1920 x 2880 resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. It also has a peak brightness of 1000nits, which means you can see it clearly even under bright sunlight.

Of course, that's not the sole highlight of the device. The MatePad Pro 13.2 houses a Kirin 9000s chipset that promises powerful flagship-class mobile performance. This is paired with at least 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It's also available in a 16GB RAM plus 1TB storage variant, enough storage for you to store entire seasons of TV series. The tablet also houses six speakers for top-notch sound quality, and four microphones for video calls.

Speaking of video calls, the MatePad Pro 13.2 relies on a 16MP front camera set inside a notch. It also has a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera setup at the back. In terms of accessories, it's paired with the third-generation M-Pencil stylus and Smart Magnetic keyboard, both sold separately. As for prices, the 12GB+256GB variant costs 5199 yuan (~RM3336), while the 16GB+1TB variant is pricier at 6999 yuan (~RM4491).
