This is unexpected, but Huawei has yet again released another Y-series smartphone on their official page. This time, Huawei silently launched the Huawei Y6 2017, an affordable smartphone with improvements from its predecessor, the Huawei Y6.
The Y6 2017’s specs are listed as follow:
- 1.4GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB expandable storage
- 5-inch IPS HD display
- 13MP main camera with 5MP front camera
- Android 6.0
- 3,000 mAh battery
Yes, the Y6 2017 will be run with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and not the upcoming Nougat. A bit of a letdown but no matter, the 3000 mAh battery and its decent camera redeems the phone.
Huawei has not yet announced when this device will go on sale but the phone is expected to be priced around €200 (RM1000). There is no news yet regarding any Malaysian releases yet but be sure to stay tuned to TechNave.com to find out.
