Konami has recently released their Chain of Souls card battle RPG game for Apple iPhone 4 or later devices on iTunes. Featuring various fantasy card characters in a card battle, the game offers a bit of a twist by incorporating chain puzzle game elements. Before you can play a card you must first get a chain of three or more puzzle pieces of the same colour. Higher chains give better scores and effects while battle cards can evolve into stronger, more powerful versions, offering players a bit more depth than your average card battle game. However, like the better card battle games out there you get bonuses by combining certain battle cards to unleash powerful skills against your foes.
