Remember the transparent display showcased at this year's CES 2024? Well, it's possible we might see them in actual products sooner than expected. Specifically, a laptop sporting a transparent display.

According to Windows Report, Lenovo has plans to unveil a laptop with a transparent display at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024). Mind you, this product is supposed to be a concept device. In other words, it's probably not an actual product that's ready for launch, at least not anytime soon.

Based on the given renders, the main benefit of having a transparent display is the nigh bezel-less design. The components used to output visuals are housed at the bottom of the display, which should also result in a thinner display. Of course, its transparent nature would have other advantages and disadvantages. First, being transparent means you can see what's behind the screen, which could be distracting. On the other hand, it means you can be more aware of your surroundings.

Honestly, a transparent display is definitely not something for everyone. Some people may like the idea while others won't, but what do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
