Today, Microsoft announced the Surface Laptop Go 3 but it's not in the Malaysian market. With that said, there's no local price and availability yet so let's check out what the new laptop has in store for us.

Compared with its predecessor, the Surface Laptop Go 3 is quite similar. Still uses a 12.4-inch PixelSense touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio and the design almost looks untouched. In terms of tech specs, it features a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U processor, Intel Iris X Graphics, either 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a removable 256GB SSD.

The battery life is said to last up to 15 hours of typical device usage and it runs on Windows 11 Home. Like before, you can find most of the features retained on the Surface Laptop Go 3. This includes a 720p webcam, a USB C 3.2, USB A 3.1, a 3.5mm audio jack and the trademark Surface Connect port. It's worth mentioning that the laptop also supports Omnisonic Speakers with Dolby Audio Premium.

From the video above, the Surface Laptop Go 3 has four colour variants in total - pink, blue, grey and green but colour availability may vary by market. Also, the starting price is revealed to be $799 (~RM3,746). For reference, the predecessor was launched at RM3,488 but we can expect the Surface Laptop Go 3 to be priced slightly higher.
