From time to time, some smartphones would suffer the green tint effect from the displays. Although not every model of a particular series would have the issue, the latest problem is coming from the Nothing Phone (1) with multiple users reporting it.
According to sources, the green tint issue seems to be appearing more frequently on the front camera and some even have dead pixels around it. For instance, an Indian customer noticed the green tint on his Nothing Phone (1) and requested a replacement from Flipkart. Oddly enough, the replacement unit also has the same green tint display.

Hi Carl, so Nothing is new in Nothing Phone 1, we already have seen the same "Green Tint display" issue in some of the previous OP phones as well. So what's for the hype all about? @geekyranjit @GyanTherapy @igyaan pic.twitter.com/ODfBPSna5j
We received the Nothing phone (1) Indian retail unit this morning. And just three hours in, we are seeing dead pixels around the selfie camera in our unit. Disappointing!!

Besides him, multiple complaints can be found on Twitter and Reddit too. Perhaps the most glaring issue is the folks from Beehom seeing the aforementioned dead pixels around the front camera. Of course, this has already caught the Nothing brand's attention and the support team is "awaiting details to help solve the issue".
As we mentioned earlier, it seems that not every Nothing Phone (1) has the green tint or dead pixels issue. We can only hope that none of the units sold in Malaysia will have it too. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
