If you remember last year, HMD launched their first Nokia-branded smartphone – the Nokia 150. As we said – it is not a smartphone but it is a good backup phone. Now the local distributor for Nokia, Avaxx Corporation, has announced the phone’s availability in the local market.

As a recap, it comes with a 2.4-inch color screen, physical T9 keypad, Bluetooth, MP3 player, FM tuner and surprise, a microSD slot for storage. It has a VGA camera at the back and continuing with Nokia’s tradition – an LED that can be used as a flashlight. It has a 22 hour talk time, 31 days standby time for the single SIM variant and a 25 day standby for the dual SIM verson. Yes, one month on a single charge.

If you are looking to own one, the Nokia 150 will be priced at RM 159 when it goes on sale later this month in Malaysia. It is no smartphone, but it is a good back up phone when you need a communications device.
