Nokia 6 (2018) is now official from ~RM925 featuring Bothie mode, fast charging technology and more

Earlier we released a news about the Nokia 6 (2018) being leaked before the official launch today, but it's now officially revealed and it's pretty much the same thing that we wrote this morning. Anyway, we are doing an official post on this one so here's everything you need to know about the second-generation Nokia 6.

  • 32GB / 64GB internal storage (expandable memory available via microSD card up to 128GB)
  • Measures 148.8 x 75.8 x 8.15mm
  • 5.5-inch IPS LCD display, 16:9 aspect ratio, 1920 x 1080p
  • 16MP main camera (F/2.0, dual-LED flash) | 8MP front camera (f/2.0, 84-degree wide-angle lens)
  • Features fingerprint scanner, OZO Audio, Bothie mode, fast charging, hybrid dual SIM slot
  • Supports Bluetooth 5.0, Cat. 4 LTE modem, Wi-Fi connectivity
  • 3000mAh battery
  • Android 7.1.1 Nougat

So we already know about the OZO Audio and Bothie mode (taking and recording images with the back and front camera simultaneously), but what we haven't covered is that the new Nokia 6's body is made of aluminium (6000-series to be exact) that went through a diamond-cut process, while the display is protected well by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3, ensuring that premium look. Fast charging is said to be able to charge the phone up to 50% from 30 minutes, and although it's only coming in Android Nougat out of the box, Nokia promises that it will be upgradable to Android Oreo this year.

As mentioned in our previous news, the 32GB model will cost 1499 Yuan (~RM925) and the 64GB is 1699 Yuan (~RM1049). Both models will be released in China first and it's unknown when will HMD Global will bring it into Malaysia. Stay tuned for more Nokia news at TechNave.com.
