Nokia Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 officially announced for the entry-level to midrange

Nokia has officially announced the Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 smartphones. Targeting the more affordable entry-level to midrange markets the Lumia 630 will offer 3G connectivity and both single-SIM and dual-SIM versions while the Lumia 635 will only offer a single-SIM version but offer 4G LTE connectivity. Both look nearly the same with the now standard Nokia Lumia colourful polycarbonate backside and black front. Other tech specs and features are more or less identical though as they all include:

  • 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 8GB storage + up to 128GB microSD
  • 4.5-inch display (IPS, 854 x 480 pixel resolution)
  • 5MP rear camera
  • supports 3G (HSPA+, 21Mbps / HSPA+, 42Mbps) / 4G LTE (100Mbps)
  • 1830 mAh battery
  • Black, bright green, bright orange, bright yellow, white

While we still don't have any Malaysia release dates or pricing, the single-SIM Nokia Lumia 630 is going for $159 (RM521) while the dual-SIM Nokia Lumia 630 is going for $169 (RM554). Both are set for a May 2014 release in Asia (and probably Malaysia). The Nokia Lumia 635 is going for $189 (RM620) with a release date expected around July 2014. Check out the videos below:
