Today, OPPO Malaysia has announced another new A-series member - the OPPO A38. It's now available in Glowing Gold and Glowing Black at a recommended retail price of RM599. Customers can now visit the official OPPO physical and online stores to check it out.
In terms of tech specs, the highlight would be the A38 features a 5000mAh battery as expected but comes with a 33W SUPERVOOC fast charger. OPPO said it can charge up to 100% in 75 minutes and a quick 15-minute charge can allow the phone to play about 5 hours of video playback. It also has an All-day Charging Protection that utilises AI to learn the user's charging habits.
Next, OPPO A38 features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 96% DCI-P3 colour gamut. It can reach up to 720 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode if you're outdoors and for the camera setup, it's equipped with a 50MP + 2MP dual rear cameras. The front camera is just 5MP but also with some portrait mode technology filters.
Powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, this entry-level phone also comes with a 4GB + 128GB memory configuration. Additionally, users can use the RAM Expansion technology of up to 4GB. Other noteworthy features include an IP54 water and dust resistance rating.
