There has been sightings of a new unheard of OPPO device going around social media recently and that is the OPPO A71. The phone has been spotted in several retail stores locally and is priced at RM858 but there has been no promos or ads from OPPO about this. So what gives?
Based on the posts found on Facebook, the OPPO A71 seems to be a full-metal, mid-range smartphone that is focused on ‘speedy operations’. With an octra-core processor and 3GB RAM. In terms of design, it looks pretty much like all the other OPPO handsets.
True enough, the specs shows an MT6750 1.5GHz processor under the hood, paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB expandable memory. The phone will have a 3 card slot system (2 nano-SIMs, 1 memory card), a 3000 mAh battery and of course, Color OS 3.1 based on Android 7 Nougat.
On the outside, the OPPO A71 will be rocking a 5.2inch HD IPS TFT Screen and a metal body with a Crashproof Structure that prevents any sort of bending and deformation. It will be interesting to actually test this out. Camera-wise, the phone will have a 13MP main camera paired with a 5MP front shooter.
We are unsure on the legitimacy of the OPPO A71, but it has been spotted around a lot so perhaps we just have to wait for some official word from OPPO to confirm. Personally, the phone looks legit and will be looking forward to hear something from OPPO soon.
