So according to sources, the newly tipped Xiaomi Mi 5X is scheduled to launch on 26 July 2017 which isn't far off. That being said, new render images of the phone have appeared online and more tech-specs information as well. Let's take a look.

On first glance, we know what you are thinking - the Mi 5X looks really familiar to the OPPO R11, which is also a copy of the Apple iPhone 7 Plus (lol). Anyway, the Mi 5X still has the fingerprint scanner behind so that's not too bad, followed by a pair of camera sensors behind with a Sony IMX386 sensor and a Samsung S5K3M3 CMOS sensor as a telephoto lens. The megapixels are still unknown. The antenna design is now a u-shaped too.

The Mi 5X will be a mid-ranger as it will sport a Snapdragon 625 processor, 5.5-inch display, 4GB RAM, a USB Type-C port, 3000mAH battery and a 16MP front camera. Also, the price tag is slated to be 1999 Yuan (~RM1267).
