With only a week left till the launch of the OnePlus 7 series, Pete Lau took to social media to share one of the capabilities of the device. He mentioned that the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro will be abiding by the tagline fast and smooth with the UFS 3.0.

UFS stands for Universal Flash Storage. Most flagship devices are currently on UFS 2.1. The UFS 3.0 doubles the speed of its predecessor, hence giving a speed advantage to the OnePlus 7 series especially when opening apps, loading games, accessing files and transferring data between devices. Also, the device is certified for HDR10+.

In India, customers who pre-order the device via Amazon India is eligible to receive a free screen replacement worth Rs. 15000 (~RM899) as well as redeem 6 months complimentary accidental screen protection plan when they register on the OnePlus Care app within 30 days of purchasing the phone. However, it is unknown if this offer will be made available here in Malaysia (fingers crossed it is).

The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro is set to be launched next week, 14th of May. The OnePlus 7 Pro is said to feature a triple camera setup with 90Hz refresh rate, a 6.7 inch QHD+ OLED display and 3x optical zoom. Tech specs wise, the device is said to sport the Snapdragon 855, 4000mAh battery capacity with 30W Warp Charge support, USB-C connectivity and stereo speakers.
