Today, ASUS Malaysia announced the official Malaysian pricing for the latest ROG Strix SCAR 15 and Strix SCAR 17 models. With two variants for each model, the ROG Strix SCAR 15 (G533Z-WLN131W) will make a debut first at a staggering price of RM10,699.
Available in local stores such as PC Image, NBP, Brightstar, TMT and EIT, the ROG Strix SCAR 15 comes with a 2-year global warranty (1st year with perfect warranty). On top of that, interested customers who buy this gaming laptop will also get to bring home a ROG Keystone, 2x customisable Armour Caps, a ROG Backpack and a ROG Chakram Core Mouse P511.
To refresh your memory, the ROG Strix SCAR 15 features the latest 12th Gen Intel Core o9-12900H processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB GDRR6 and Intel Iris X graphics. Measuring at 15.6-inches, the IPS display supports WQHD (2560 x 1400 pixels), 16:9 aspect ratio, 3ms, 300nits DC1-P3 100% and up to 240Hz refresh rate.
There is plenty of memory at 32GB of RAM and 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD of storage. As expected, the laptop comes with WiFi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2 connection. There is also plenty of I/O ports such as a Thunderbolt 4 for DisplayPort support, USB Type-C, even a LAN port and more.
As for the rest of the ROG Strix 15 and 17 models, they will arrive in March 2022 with the following price tags - RM10,999 (Strix 17 G733Z-WLL140W), RM16,699 (Strix 15 G533Z-XLN034W) and RM16,999 (Strix 17 G733Z-XLL029W).
