Red Bull Malaysia to host Red Bull Coliseum Season 2 in Malaysia with a prize pool of RM100,000

Today, Red Bull Coliseum (RBC) has just been announced for a second season comprising DotA 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offense, FIFA' 17, along with two additional titles such the popular Overwatch from Blizzard Entertainment, and FIFA Online 3. The prize pool the tournament has been increased to RM100,000 as well, opening up to five countries which are Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, and Thailand.

With the RBC tournament to be held in Malaysia, this has initiated new partners such as MSI as the official laptop partner, Digi Telecommunications as the official streaming partner, Logitech for peripherals, and AirAsia for regional travel packages. Seeing how successful season 1 was last year, Jate Samathivathanachai, Director of Strategy at Allexcel, RBM's brand representative stated that season 2 will feature the five aforementioned games, with over 5500 players from five different countries coming to compete for the RM100,000 prize pool.

The official five games for Season 2

RBC season 1 first debuted last year with DotA 2, CS:GO, and FIFA 16 with a prize pool of RM5000, attracting over 1100 players. Red Bull Esports Zone will continue to provide new and intriguing eSports content which includes gaming-related news, monthly websisodes featuring both familiar and fresh faces from tournaments.
