Xiaomi is set to unveil the latest offerings of its Redmi subbrand later today with the Redmi Note 12 series and we’ve already gotten a few confirmed specs yesterday from the Chinese tech giants. Now, more information has been revealed regarding the smartphone lineup, including how the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition will feature a whopping 210W fast charging!
Shared on the official Redmi Weibo account, the company shared a poster with the Note 12 Explorer Edition’s battery and charging speed being the main focus. The 210W fast charging makes it the fastest charging solution on a smartphone in the world, with leaks claiming that the Note 12 Explorer Edition can fully recharge from zero in just 9 minutes.
Previously, the world’s fastest-charging smartphone was the iQOO 10 Pro with its 200W fast charging. That particular device can fully recharge from zero in just 10 minutes.
No other information has been revealed by Xiaomi yet regarding the specs sheet of the Note 12 Explorer Edition except for this 210W fast charging. Well, we’ll just have to wait a few more hours to find out as the Redmi Note 12 series is set for release in China at 7pm local time today.
