So most of you are excited about the Google Pixel XL 2, thanks to the render concept that came out not too long ago. Well, we got some more news about the phone and it's about the features it might have.

According to sources, the upcoming flagship will feature a squeeze frame function. Sounds familiar? That's exactly how the HTC U11 works with the Edge-sense technology, where users can squeeze the phone to do certain tasks. In Pixel XL 2's case, the squeeze function is likely to activate Google Assistant. We hope that it can also open other apps for short-cut purposes instead of being a dedicated A.I. activator. Rumours have it that it can silence incoming calls by squeezing too.

Next, on its OLED display, there will be an always-on feature. Nothing new there, but in case you've been living under a rock, the feature shows information and notifications when the phone is locked. In addition, the Display Settings has a new section called sRGB mode allowing users to choose a "Vivid Colours" option.

In terms of specifications, the Pixel XL 2 will sport a Snapdragon 835 processor, a 5.99-inch OLED display in 2880 x 1440 resolution with an 18:9 screen-to-body ratio, and a fingerprint sensor.
