We have already reported about Samsung Galaxy Note FE (Fandom Edition) launching on 7 July 2017 (maybe), now we bring you news of what we can expect from the tech-specs according to GFXBench.

Although it’s listed as the Galaxy Note 7R in the GFXBench website, it should be the same thing as the FE edition. Anyway, the refurbished Note 7 will have the same specifications as the original Note 7 . However, the FE edition will have lesser resolution display of 5.7-inch FHD of 1920 x 1080 pixels instead of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Why the downgrade? Maybe it has something to do with the unfortunate battery disaster last year.

Another small change to the FE edition is having iris scanner, a potential wireless charging technology, and a small battery of 3200 mAh.

As mentioned earlier, tech-specs further reveal the phablet will feature same:

  • Exynos 8890 chipset octa-core processor, clocking in at 2.6GHz
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64GB internal storage (expandable storage available)
  • 12MP main camera / 5MP front camera
  • Android 7.0 Nougat.
