We have talked about Samsung’s flagship flip phone here on TechNave before, and thanks to photos seen online, we can see that it is real, and it looks to be a beast of a flip phone. The Samsung flagship flip phone, code named ‘Veyron’ is set to bring high end flagship feel to the otherwise classic design.

It carries the model number SM-W2017, and it looks to be the new choice for what we assume Chinese smartphone users to own. It is set to have two 4.2-inch screens with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. Running the show is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of on-board storage, a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. It is all powered by a 2000mAh battery. It will also have USB Type C connectors and Samsung pay installed.

From the photos, we also see influences from the current line of Galaxy smartphone, which includes glass panels front, inside and rear, as well as the curves from the Samsung Galaxy S7//Note 7 incorporated into the design. No word yet when this will be available, but as the price of the previous model reached USD 1565 (~RM 6471), we can be assured that the successor will be carrying a similar price tag.
