Rumour has it that Sony will break their design philosophy soon with their first bezel-less flagship device which will rock a 6-inch LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio this year at the IFA 2017.

The leak comes from a mention of JDI (Japan Display Inc), producing a 6-inch ultra-narrow screen display with an 18:9 screen aspect ratio. Of which, is rumoured to adorn the body of Sony’s upcoming latest flagship to rival that of the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 and of course the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Sony has been stubborn so far with their builds in contrast with most of their competitor flagships opting for a more bezel-less option. Evidently, most Sony devices such as the Xperia XZ Premium, and Xperia XA1 all possess rather large top and bottom bezels. However if this is rumour is true, this will very well be Sony’s first bezel-less attempt and it is exciting.
