Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) officially announced with infinity displays, dual front cameras, IP68 and more

Barely a day after leaks showed off the latest Samsung Galaxy A (2018) series and Samsung have officially announced their Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) smartphones. Successors of the previous Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017), the 2 new Galaxy A (2018) phones share 18.5:9 aspect ratio Infinity Displays, dual front cameras and IP68 dust and water resistance. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but it is expected globally in January 2018. Malaysia generally gets Samsung phones quickly so we shouldn't have to wait too long.

Like the previous Galaxy A (2017) series, the new Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) bring flagship features to the midrange with Live Focus and VDis (video digital image stabilization) and hyperlapse for the cameras, Always On display, Samsung Pay (both MST and NFC). No mention of any Bixby button but we expect Bixby Home to be included at least, while Face Unlock could also make an appearance as well.
