Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S10 series devices will be one of the first smartphones to come equipped with Qualcomm’s very own implementation of in-display fingerprint sensor which utilizes an ultrasonic reader instead of the traditional implementation.
The ultrasonic reader provides the ability to produce a 3D image which contains more data to keep the device more secure. Not only that, based on the patent filed by Samsung which was previously covered, the device will have a larger fingerprint detection area of about a quarter of the total screensize. The Samsung Galaxy S10 devices is expected to be revealed during MWC 2019 next year, so stay tuned to TechNave.com as we provide more updates on this subject.
