Samsung has recently launched the Samsung Galaxy Wide 2, the successor to the previous model the Galaxy Wide in their hometown of South Korea. The model of the phone was initially thought to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) but boy did Samsung pull a fast one on us.

The Galaxy Wide 2 looks to be a mid-end phone with the following specs:

  • Octa-core 1.6GHz processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB internal storage
  • 5.5-inch HD display
  • 13MP main camera with 5MP front camera
  • 151.5 x 76.4 x 8.6 dimension
  • Android 7.0 Nougat
  • 3300 mAh battery

It is quite unlikely that the phone will be released in Malaysia but who knows right? Samsung might want to pull yet another fast one on us. It is currently priced around $265 (RM1150) in South Korea so if it does come, our Malaysian pricing should be around there as well. Make sure to stay tuned to TechNave.com for anymore updates.
