If you are an iOS user, you might be aware that Apple has developed an app that allows you to switch from Android to Apple. Thanks to recent development from the EU, switching from Android to iOS could be easier. That said, what should you know about it?

According to a recent document by Apple, Apple will include a “browser switching solution” to transfer data between browsers on the same device. This feature could arrive by late 2024 or early 2025. Interestingly, you might be able to change the default web browser for iOS by March 2025.

In addition, the document doesn’t state if this update will roll out gradually to everyone or if it will be an exclusive update for the EU. However, we could expect Apple to enable sideloading apps in the upcoming updates. Plus, the Cupertino company says it will be “a solution that helps mobile operating system providers develop more user-friendly solutions to transfer data from an iPhone to a non-Apple phone.”

We have yet to confirm other details on the subject or if it will come to Malaysia. As of now, we should wait for further confirmation from Apple. You might want to keep an eye out for this.
