Nowadays, gamers don’t just ask for new games anymore, they are also demanding the studios to remake classic and legendary games to fit their modern gaming needs. Games like Resident Evil 3 and Final Fantasy VII have gotten their upgrades and will be released next year. Today, Blizzard Entertainment has also announced the WarCraft III: Reforged, a remake version of WarCraft III will launch on 28 January 2020.

The WarCraft III: Reforged was supposed to be released this year, but has been postponed. It is due to the studio “felt they need a little extra development time for finishing touches as they approach the finish line”. They also promised to honor the standards the players hold them to.

This remake of WarCraft III features more than just visual upgrade, its storyline will also be tweaked to fall in line with the stories of World of Warcraft. The changes will bring more focus to a few central characters that they thought deserved a longer time in the limelight, according to Pete Stillwell from Blizzard.

If you are still a current player of the classic WarCraft III, it is said that the players from the classic will be able to play against those who own Warcraft III: Reforged. You can now pre-order the game from Blizzard Shop with the price of 29.99 USD (~RM124.24) for Standard Edition and 39.99 USD (~RM165.67) for Spoils of War Edition.
