The Road Transport Department (JPJ) director-general Datuk Rospiagos Taha has revealed that all services related to the department are expected to be available on the MyJPJ app by 2025. This is in line with JPJ’s target to go fully digital in two years’ time.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook today announced that the online payment system for Motor Vehicle Licence (LKM) and Malaysian Driving Licence (LMM) will be launched “in a few months”. Currently, the system is still in the testing phase to ensure a smooth launch.

The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has announced that 2.971 million users have downloaded and registered the MyJPJ app since its introduction on 10 February 2023. This is following the implementation of the Digital Motor Vehicle License and Digital Private Malaysian Driving by the Transport Ministry (MOT).

The Road Transport Department (JPJ) today announced that several security features and overall user-friendliness features have been added to the MyJPJ app and its public portal. JPJ director-general Datuk Zailani Hashim said that the features can be accessed gradually starting today.

The Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) has revealed that a security vulnerability in the MyJPJ app was successfully resolved prior to its launch last Friday. Its Minister, Fahmi Fadzil said that the vulnerability was identified by Cyber Security Malaysia (CSM) during the development process of the app and users shouldn’t worry about their personal data when using MyJPJ.
