11-year old Malaysian kid became a Shopee seller to earn enough money for a new phone

When it comes to online shopping, Malaysian customers have to either worry about being scammed or look for the best deals possible. In this case, this young child became a Shopee seller in order to raise some money to get a new phone device for himself and his siblings

According to Malaymail.com, the family have to share the computer together especially his siblings who need to attend online classes. The young child named Umar Al-Khattab is just 11 years old and is the fourth child of the family. While the family could get a phone for the children, the parents prioritised the funds for house utilities, groceries and other bills. Both parents are not working during this MCO period.

Umar first got interested in starting an online business after his father's friend telling and explaining him on starting one at Shopee. From there, he set up one and learn many things on the rope such as talking to customers and managing the products. He soon got the attention after apologizing to a customer who then posted about the boy's business on Facebook.

At the moment, Umar is selling a wide variety of things such as LED lights, stationery items, watches and others. In just the first two days from starting the business, he has already gotten 200 orders and sold everything in less than a week.
