After the fairly massive leaks, Samsung have officially launched their Samsung Galaxy J7 Plus with a 13MP + 5MP dual rear camera in Thailand for 12900 baht (~RM1661). According to GSMArena, the phone has an aluminum body and what appears to be MediaTek Helio P20 processor with a generous 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Rather than go wide-angle with the secondary rear lens, the Galaxy J7 Plus goes for a 5MP F/1.9 aperture lens for a more natural bokeh effect while a 16MP front camera provides for the selfie crowd.

Other tech specs include a fingerprint sensor, Always-on display, Bixby and 3000 mAh battery. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet, but it is currently going for pre-order in Thailand until 17 September 2017. We expect many more dual-rear camera or even dual-front camera Samsung phones to come soon, but the upcoming dual-rear and dual-front camera phone from Huawei also seems to be an interesting proposition as well.
