For those unaware, the Huawei XMAGE Awards 2025 was recently held in Paris. It's an annual mobile photography competition intended to showcase the photography prowess of Huawei phones, so contest entries must be captured on a Huawei phone. Below are more details of this year's awards.
2 winning Malaysians
This year, the Huawei XMAGE Awards 2025 contest ran from 24 July to 15 September 2025. Plenty of Malaysians participated in the many available categories of: "So Far So Close", "Good Night", Colour & Shade", "Faces", "A Heartwarming World", "Experimental Lab", "Storyboard", and "Action".
Two Malaysians won in the "Faces" categories and were awarded during an award ceremony at the Grand Palais in Paris. First, there's the "Men at Work" by Mr Hazize San who captured the winning photo on a Huawei P60 Pro. The other winner is Mr Faizul Hisham and his "Innocence in Colours", which was snapped using a Huawei Mate 20 Pro smartphone.
