The gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 Pitch Competition opens up opportunities for indie game developers from Southeast Asia to showcase their creative ideas on the international stage. 2 studios from Malaysia have qualified to the finals. So, what should you know about it?
The finalists will compete on 17 October 2025
For your information, these studios are Ghost Machine and Kotakoren Games Studio Sdn Bhd. Malaysia will be joining the finals along with 11 other participants.

On 17 Oct, developers will showcase and pitch their games live and compete to win:
- Best Visual
- Best Game Design
- Most Anticipated Game

Additionally, Ghost Machine qualified through their submission "Zhen: Shattered Legacy" and Kotakoren Games Studio Sdn. Bhd. for their game, " Of Blood & Descent ".
Additionally, the gamescom asia and Thailand Game Show, which will take place from 16 to 19 October, has received over 100 entries from developers around the world with cash prizes worth USD1500 to the 3 main winners.
The winners might go big and be successful
Most notably, this competition sponsored by BACKND and Epic Games Store can connect game developers with investors, publishers and media, as well as provide exposure to the regional market.
