2024 Samsung AI TVs & soundbars Malaysia release - starting price at RM6199 & RM2999, respectively

With AI being the hype of 2024 in tech, Samsung Malaysia has announced a new lineup of Samsung AI TVs and soundbars this year. In conjunction with the launch, the company is offering Touch 'n Go eWallet rewards of up to RM2900 and prizes worth RM140,000 in total. 

In the prize giveaway, consumers can participate in a running contest to win bonus gifts such as the Q-Series Soundbar, Galaxy S24, and Bespoke Jet Plus by uploading the receipt and a creative photo. The contest is currently ongoing until 30 June 2024 and regarding the eWallet credit, selected products will offer different rewards and freebies. To recap, the Neo QLED 8K features the latest NQ8 AI Gen3 processor. Alongside the Neural Processing Unit (NPU), it delivers twice the speed of its predecessor along with an eightfold increase, from 64 to 512, in neural networks. Additionally, there is also 8K AI Upscaling to improve low-resolution content immensely, AI Motion Enhancer Pro for smoother and clearer visuals, and Real Depth Enhancer Pro that adds lifelike visual immersion. 

The Neo QLED 8K is available in two models, the QN800D and QN900D  in 75 and 85 inches, respectively. Below are some more AI features that the TV has:

  • Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) Pro Function
  • AI Customization Mode
  • AI Auto Game Mode
  • AI Energy Mode
  • Environment Adaptive Brightness

On the other hand, there's also the Neo QLED 4k and OLED TV lineups with similar features but powered by an NQ4 AI Gen2 Processor. The latter has a new Glare-Free OLED that eliminates reflection and the visuals are further boosted with OLED HDR Pro, Motion Xcelerator 144Hz and others. The Neo QLED 4k is available in sizes ranging from 55 to 98 inches, whereas the 2024 OLED TVs are offered in two models — S95D and S90D — available in 65 to 77 inches.

For those who favour style and art, Samsung also revamped The Frame and introduced an all-new Music Frame which is compatible with Q-Symphony technology and supports Dolby Atmos. All the 2024 Samsung AI TVs will run on the latest Tizen OS Home and Samsung Knox Security versions.
