A government's effort to promote the use of MyKAD
For your information, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said this initiative was implemented in conjunction with the celebration of National Day and Malaysia Day, which will thus ease the financial burden of the people.
Additionally, payments can only be made via the MyBayar application using the MyDigital ID login, the government's official digital identity. This measure not only simplifies payment transactions, but also ensures a faster, safer and more efficient process.
Saifuddin explained that this offer is also part of the government's efforts to encourage citizens to use MyDigital ID, which is key to the country's digital transformation agenda. The government is targeting 13 million Malaysians to be registered with MyDigital ID by the end of this year.
With the discount, people have the opportunity to settle their arrears of summons at a lower rate while supporting the use of more modern and reliable digital services.
