One of my favourite features on Android is definitely the Google Translate Instant Camera. It makes the world smaller and travel a lot easier thanks to its instant translation on the app just by pointing the camera at any text. Now the app is about to get more diverse as Google adds 60 more languages to the app

The languages include Malay, Hindi, Arabic, Thai, Vietnamese and more which makes it easier for us Malaysians who aren’t too fluent in English when we travel or even if we converse with people who speak different languages in our country (I mean, we are a melting pot of cultures after all). Now, translations are no longer to English only as it works both ways flawlessly.

In addition, the app now has 3 modes which is Scan, Instant and Import for easier translations. The app can also detect the source language on its own without any prompting. Google claims that translation errors on the app is now 50% less thanks to the Neural Machine Translation (NMT) technology.

We can expect to see the update out on the app in the next coming weeks. You can find the Google Translate app on the Google Play Store. For the latest updates on tech and beyond, stay tuned to TechNave.com!
