Based on a statement by abacusnews.com, it seems that China Telecom, as well as ZTE, could already be working on 6G technology right now which is expected to be commercialized somewhere around 2030. This early start into 6G is likely due to the fact that China wants to have a head start on the competition and have a stronger position in the telecommunications market.

While not much is known in regards to the improvements 6G comes with, we do know that the new network could support a peak data rate of up to 1 terabit per second. With all that said, what are your thoughts on China starting on 6G development early? Let us know on our Facebook page and for more updates like this, stay tuned to TechNave.com.
