From time to time, there is always news about people being upset or offended by something or someone. Even if it's just a tiny matter. Well, in the UK, a 10-year-old boy named Teddy is apparently offended about Apple's nerd emoji design.

From the BBC, he told the media that "We want to change this - Apple are making it horrible for people wearing glasses". He even came up with his own redesign nerd emoji which replaces the toothy smile with a normal simple smile. He calls it the genius emoji and hopes Apple will adopt it.

Teddy said Apple is making people think people with glasses are nerds and it's "absolutely horrible". "It's making me feel sad and upset, and if I find it offensive there'll be thousands of people around the world that find it offensive too," he said. Yes, little Teddy really doesn't like those "horrible rabbit teeth", and he likes wearing glasses because they make him see better, and they look good and stylish (his words).

All of this started when Teddy was texting his cousin and he noticed the "offending" nerd emoji. He shared his campaign idea with Lisa, one of his teachers who assisted him in kickstarting the petition at school and then online. Lisa finds it commendable and she encourages it Teddy would feel amazing and excited if Apple considered his idea.
