Among the gaming platforms, Epic Games Store is one of the regular platforms that consistently give away free games during the MCO. Over the past few weeks, they have given us Just Cause 4, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Dark Siders series, World War Z, and many more. However, the company has implemented a Two-Factor Authentication for every user to claim free games for now.

The Two-Factor Authentication won't be forever, as it will only end on 21 May 2020. According to their news post, they just want to encourage the gamers to have better security on their Epic account. So starting from now onwards until the said date, you will start to see the Two Factor Authentication Required message before claiming a free game.

To enable your this authentication security, you can visit your Epic Games account settings here and choose whether you want to receive it from the app, phone number or email. We know, it's a hassle to do this but better to be safe than sorry.
