When you’re under flaming hot weather, getting a carbonated drink is definitely one of the options you can think of to get your thirst quenched. However, there are also people that will worry about the consequences after consuming those small cans of temporary happiness. For that, they will go to a safer choice which is getting those canned drinks that don’t contain sugar or calories. Now, a study from Yale University is saying that drinking Coke Zero Sugar will not bring major health effects to people, as long as you’re not consuming it with carbohydrates.

Coke Zero Sugar is made out of artificial sweetener including sucralose, which is a type of substitute sugar that is commonly used by diabetic patients and people who are trying to lose weight. The study from Yale University has found out that consuming the drinks alone will not cause any major health issues, but it is advised to not consume them with carbohydrates.

During the study, the research team noticed that sucralose alone will not have adverse health effects on people. However, when the same artificial sweetener is consumed together with carbohydrates, it will affect our neural responses and metabolism. Therefore, you might need to stop eating your fries after sipping your Coke Zero Sugar to achieve the result you want.

The debate on whether consuming artificial sweeteners will affect our health has been existing for a long time. With this study, it is still not enough to prove that we won’t be getting any health issues with large consumption of carbonated drinks made of artificial sweeteners. Therefore, we still want to remind you to take it easy when it comes to consuming any form of sugar.
