If you’re into portability then you’ll definitely love Samsung’s latest addition to their notebook family - The Samsung Galaxy Book S. It’s a super thin and light notebook which interestingly runs the Snapdragon 8cx chipset like a smartphone without losing out on the PC experience as it features the Windows 10 OS which makes for an interesting combination.

The notebook comes with tech specs that include a 13.3 inch FHD touch display, the Snapdragon 8cx chipset, 8GB LRDDRX4 RAM, 512GB storage (expandable up to 1TB with microSD card) and 42Wh battery (23 hours of battery life with video playback) with Quick Charge 2.0 and Power Delivery 2.0. For security, it comes with a fingerprint reader and Windows Hello. This notebook doesn’t rely on Wifi to stay connected as it can connect to the internet via LTE Cat.18. The downside to this laptop is that only comes with a single USB-C port.

The laptop is extremely slim, lightweight and portable

It looks sleek and extremely premium looking with 2 colours: Mercury Gray and Earthly Gold. It comes in an anodized aluminium chassis and weighs a mere 0.96kg. It is also only 11.8mm in thinness which is quite impressive. Audio is definitely great on this device as well as it comes with AKG loudspeakers with Dolby Atmos tuning.

We can expect the Galaxy Book S out in markets somewhere this fall in certain markets. However, there has been no news on the Malaysia release date or the Malaysia price. Fingers crossed that they bring the Galaxy Book S here because it looks so good! What do you think of this laptop? Keep up with the latest tech releases on TechNave.com!
