HUAWEI's in-house operating system (OS) HarmonyOS has been improving and will make its debut sooner or later on mobile devices. Earlier news has reported that some of the current HUAWEI and HONOR smartphones will be able to make the switch by the time when the mobile version of the OS arrives. Now, the list of smartphones has appeared online showing us which of the devices could be eligible for it.
According to a HUAWEI-centric media site HUAWEI Central, the list will include over 40 devices from both HUAWEI and HONOR. Unfortunately, there are also some that didn't make the cut including HUAWEI's Enjoy series and Y series with HONOR's entry-level devices, 9 series, and 30i (or 30 Youth). The unannounced HUAWEI V40 series and nova 8 series have been spotted inside the list as well.

HUAWEI is planning to roll out the first Harmony OS developers' beta on 18 December and will proceed to have the public beta out by April 2021. With that said, it looks like the company will get the OS ready by late 2021 for the official launch.
