Towards the end of May, we have written a couple of news about the rumoured Sony WF-1000XM4. With the number of leaks online, it was only a matter of time when Sony will announce the launching date. According to the official Sony YouTube channel, there will be a livestream event on 9 June 2021.
With the hashtag #YourSoundNothingElse and the headline saying "Truly Silent. Tailored 4 You.", we have no doubt that it's a reference to the Sony WF-1000XM4 wireless earbuds. Just so you know, the predecessor was last released in 2019 so it's a welcome addition to the wireless audio trend. The time listed there is 1:00 AM JST, so that would be 12 AM in Malaysia.
In terms of tech specs, the WF-1000XM4 is expected to have improved Active Noise Cancellation and longer battery life. The design is also changed (if true) to be more ergonomic alongside a more rectangular-shaped charging case. Honestly, we can't imagine how the WF-1000XM4 can succeed its predecessor because it's already good. Guess we will just have to wait and see.
